Please tell me that I'm not the only one whose in-laws have gone bat shit crazy since announcing the pregnancy

The plan was to move closer to my family to raise the baby. My family has lots of infants, and I want my baby to grow up with cousins their age. Also I want to be around my parents leading up to and after the birth, sue me. Now that plans are going into action, my in-laws are acting like the world is imploding on them, my husband and I are horrible people, how could we do this to them.. blah blah blah. They have never been this dramatic and horrible before. I'm like my painful tits and constant nausea is enough, I don't need your bullshit too!!
