How many of y’all are carrying around trauma?

My therapist helped me see health worry from a different angle. She explained to me that it's totally common for traumatised individuals to continually prepare for the worst-case situations by thinking about death, visualising all the ways you and your loved ones could pass away, or even frequently convincing yourself that you're ill.

I'm keen to know whether any of you can relate to this.

And to anyone reads this, I sincerely hope that this viewpoint might help you find some tranquilly, as it did for me. Seeing the connection between trauma and compulsive worrying has helped me feel more normal because I've always kind of thought of my health concern as separate from everything else.
