Join the Movement to Revitalize Oak Hill! We are a group of local residents who want to see our city thrive. We know our city has enormous potential and we believe that, together, we can spark positive change! In 2023, Oak Hill was selected to participate in HubCAP, a program designed by The West Virginia Community Development Hub (The Hub). The goal of this program is to stimulate the revitalization of communities in West Virginia like Oak Hill through volunteer efforts and leadership development. Through this program, our beloved city is able to receive technical assistance, support with creative placemaking, and expert mentorship from key innovators and thought leaders in West Virginia. Collectively, our volunteer group is advocating for and implementing initiatives that support local businesses, attract new investments, revitalize neighborhoods, promote tourism, and get our city's economy moving. On this page, we'll share ideas, highlight local volunteer efforts, announce upcoming events, and provide ways for you to get involved. With your help, we can reignite the economic engine of our city. Support small businesses. Shop local. Hire local. Invest in the future of our community. Be part of the movement to bring prosperity back to our streets. Join us and make a difference! Our group meets periodically once a month at a location in Oak Hill for a Group Session that lasts about 1-1.5 hours. All who are interested in the prosperity and well-being of our community are encouraged to attend - business owners, families, entrepreneurs, individuals - come one, come all!
